RC Computing Services began with a 13 year old boy travelling to a Home Savings data center on a school field trip. 46 years ago, computers were massive. The entire center was filled with magnetic tape readers and row upon row of what looked like washing machines. In fact, they were the predecessors of the modern hard drive, although with a fraction of the capacity. That boy fell instantly and devastatingly in love with computers.

After getting married and having his first child, that boy, now a man, joined the U. S. Army. When Uncle sam offered to pay for his college education, he quickly enrolled in the computer science degree program at the University of Texas at El Paso, where he graduated in 1988 with a B.S. in computer science.

Since that time, I have done many things, including being deployed in Kuwait/Iraq from 1990 to 1992, but have always been focused on my first love, computers.
